The 2021 NAOC EP project annual meeting was held on Dec. 28 at NAOC in Beijing, also joined by EPSC members from IHEP. The progresses made during 2021 were reviewed on the EP payloads and EP science center, as well as the working plan in 2022.

The year 2021 was highly productive for the EP program. The EP satellite qualification model was built, including the WXT QM and the FXT QM. A series of satellite-level tests (e.g., thermal, mechanical, and EMC) were completed at MicroSat in Shanghai. Calibration tests for the WXT and FXT QMs were performed at the IHEP 100m X-ray test facility. The calibration results confirmed that both the WXT QM and the FXT QM meet the performance requirements needed for EP science.
